Elijah V Pringle, III is an internationally published American artist from Philadelphia, PA., he has appeared in nearly 40 anthologies and journals since the turn of this century. Constantly evolving and exploring, he has maintained a voice that consistently reveals his keen insight into the “human experiment”, as he would say.
A classical trained lyric baritone under the tutelage of Marc Jenkins (Temple University) he has performed in several operas and sacred music concerts as well as his own recitals. Recently, he has turned his musical interest to popular music, debuting as a Rock and R&B singer at the Live World Cafe (Philadelphia) in 2022. His debut as a jazz singer occurred in (Dublin, Ireland) also 2022.
Mr. Pringle is truly a Rennaissant Man his credits include stage, screen, tv and radio as both a performer, writer and director. He is one of several artists select to reopen the Kimmel Center after the Pandemic. Not only respected as an artist he is also, often consulted because of his keen interest in the management and promotion of the arts.
George Torrella is a Jazz focused drummer and leader of ‘GT3-Jazz Standards!’ working with more than 30 fabulous local musicians each year. GT3-jazz performs primarily throughout the Lehigh Valley with ensembles varying from Duo to Octet and averages more than 120 performances each year. George began studying music at NYC’s Power Memorial Academy & St. John’s University and continued private study with internationally acclaimed drummer Gary Rissmiller. Since relocating from New York in 2002, George has enjoyed jazz residencies at ‘Sarandas on Broadway’, ‘The Bookstore Speakeasy’, and currently, Bethlehem’s ‘Wooden Match’ and Stroudsburg’s ‘Yard of Ale’. GT3-Jazz! Is regularly featured at Historic Hotel Bethlehem, ArtsQuest; Bethlehem House Gallery; other venues, private events & festivals. George currently resides in Hellertown, PA with his wife, Lorraine.
